Fall is one of my favorite seasons for getting dressed; the layers, the colors, they’re all just a really good time for the closet. Today I’m rounding up a few of my favorite fall outfits in the hope of sharing some inspiration for the season.
{blush cardigan + midi dress + mules}
This is a great look for early fall when it’s still warm enough for bare legs, yet you need a layer in the morning.
{jumpsuit + jean jacket}
This is another great early fall look. The jumpsuit has fall colors, yet it’s the perfect weight for days it still feels warm.
{utility jacket + chambray shirt + jeans}
This is such a simple look, but it’s a combination I never get tired of. I’ve worn many different versions of this look through the years.
{sweater blazer + print blouse + jeans}
A sweater blazer is the perfect lightweight layer for fall, because it’s warm enough on its own for early fall, but as the temperatures drop it’s thin enough to work under a coat. I love it dressed up with a pretty printed blouse and bright mules.
{sweater blazer + tee + jeans + sneakers}
A sweater blazer works equally well dressed down with jeans and sneakers, which is how I’ll likely be wearing it most of the time this fall.
{fall-colored sweater + jeans + slip-on sneakers}
I love the warm, rich colors of fall, and I always want a sweater in one of those hues–I love this rusty orange version. It’s so easy to wear with simple jeans and slip-on sneakers (in my current addiction: leopard print).
{neutral layers + scarf + olive jeans}
When fall weather hits, it’s the perfect time to throw on light layers with a scarf. I usually add color on top but it can be fun to keep the top neutral and try jeans or pants in an olive shade. (RIP this pair, I need another!)
{leather jacket + fall floral top + jeans}
This is one of my favorite combinations for fall. I love the slightly dressy feel of the leather jacket and blouse, yet with jeans I still feel comfortable. I love this look so much I have it a couple ways, with two different colored jackets.
