Spied it, Tried it: Nutella Desserts

My first experience with Nutella was when I studied abroad in Paris one summer when I was in college. On our way home from class, my classmate and I passed a little crepe stand, where I indulged myself with a Nutella crepe just about every day. I gained a bit of weight that summer, I’m not going to lie. (In fact, our French “mom” at the house we stayed made a comment about how I may want to start cutting back on the chocolate. I wanted to be offended, but she was right, my limited selection of pants had become increasingly difficult to button.)

Anyway, now days I still love to indulge in Nutella, although now I’m much better at practicing moderation. Recently I’ve been craving that chocolaty, creamy hazelnut spread again, and wanting to make one of the many Nutella desserts on my For the Sweet Tooth board.

{tried it: Nutella stuffed blondies}

A couple of weeks ago I had a get-together at a friend’s house, and I brought these Nutella Stuffed Blondies I saw on A Cup of Jo. They were so chocolaty and rich, and filled with creamy Nutella goodness.

If you follow me on Instagram you saw that I also made some Nutella hot chocolate (recipe from A Beautiful Mess) the other night. As predicted, it turned out wonderfully. Although you may want to double the recipe if you truly want more than one serving–the 2 servings it claimed to make were pretty skimpy.
