Pandemic Easter Syle: Wearing vs What I Wish I Were Wearing

Working from home and trying to teach and entertain my kids, I haven’t had a lot of down time. I know that many have been forced to have down time that they didn’t ask for, and still others, like healthcare workers, grocery store employees, and more, wish they could be quarantined at home with their families. I guess I’m saying that we’re all in this together, but we’re in it differently, and that’s okay.

When I don’t have time to escape to the world of books or baking, keeping up with a few favorite style bloggers has been a comfort. The ones I love post a mix of real-world, quarantine-friendly looks with “what I wish I were wearing” outfits mixed in. I know no one cares what I’m wearing right now, but taking a few minutes to pick out an “outfit,” rather than just throwing on clothes, helps me stay sane.

Therefore, I wanted to share a style post in that same vein: what I wish I were wearing, and what I will actually wear… Easter theme.

If we were going to church (like the old days!) I would wear this dress I bought this fall, with wedge sandals to make it feel like spring. Instead, for watching church online and seeing what the Easter Bunny brought the kids, I’ll wear a springy floral top with jeans (and shoes for this blog post, but you know I’ll be barefoot or in slippers at home!).

Our Easter will be low-key and spent at home this year, and I’m okay with that. What are your Easter plans? What will you wear?
