Stripes, Dots, and Blush Pink

Happy Valentine's Day! Like I mentioned in my post on Friday, I don't have any plans for today other than going to Jona's preschool party. There's nothing more romantic than spending your evening with a three-year-old hyped up on way too much sugar, right? #momlife

Other than the touches of pink, this isn't even a very Valentine's Day look, but it's what I wore in real life this weekend. We went to a birthday party for a little boy Jona used to go to daycare with, and it was a blast seeing all the kids together again. I realized after I got home that I didn't take a single picture, unfortunately. We also went to a wedding over the weekend and I didn't take any pictures there either! I've come to the conclusion that if it's not one of my kids or an outfit, I don't take a picture of it. I need to be better about that.

Do you have any fun plans for today? Are you good about taking pictures or do you get caught up and forget too?

  1. I have the opposite problem: I'm so worried about getting pictures, I'm not actually experiencing whatever is going on. I've found that if I take a picture at the beginning, I get to have a momento of the day and then the pressure is off and I can enjoy myself and still have the option to take a picture if there is a truly great photo op.

  2. I love the mixture of the stripes and polka dots but in neutral colors! I also think I have that exact same necklace. Is it for teething babies??

I really appreciate hearing from you!
