In August, local blogger and stylist (and new mommy!) Caitlin of Sophisticaited, hosted a shopping event at Savers for their #igiveashirt campaign. I had to miss the event because Jona was sick, but the nice people at Savers still sent me a gift card for a shopping spree, which I finally got around to using over the weekend.
It’s a little challenging to shop now, as I don’t want to buy maternity clothes but not a lot else fits. However, I found this floral dress that can do double duty as a kimono now and a shirt dress later. I found lots of other fun things as well, like a chunky gray cardigan that will be great for winter, a couple of cute onesies for Violet, and a plaid button-up shirt for Jona.
I also picked up this hat during a Target trip, and after admiring hats on others for quite some time now, I’m excited to finally have my own. This look, which is a little on the boho side, is out of my usual outfit “comfort zone”, but it turns out I really like it.
Do you like to shop thrift stores? Have you found any good deals lately?
