I’ve never been a big fan of the hot weather, but I’m especially ready to say goodbye to it being 36 years, I mean weeks, pregnant. Luckily this weekend we got a cool front and I was able to pull out a few new (to me) fall pieces I got from a recent ThredUp order.
I’m thrilled that, other than the tee, none of these pieces are maternity, so I don’t have to say goodbye to them after next month. The stretchy knit maxi skirt sits comfortably under my bump, but will be just as comfy as a postpartum option (which is always a tricky time for getting dressed!). And the blazer, well, as long as I don’t try to button it, can be worn any time. Ideally I’d pair this with my taupe ankle boots, but I’ve already mentioned that they’re no match for the current swollen state of my feet.
I scored some new fall duds for Jona too, including this striped tee from (yet another) Old Navy sale. Poor kid, his mother’s stripe addiction carries right over into his closet as well. In fact, he may have more stripes in his wardrobe than I do.
