$10 at Target: Summer Beauty

It’s been a couple of months since I’ve joined in the $10 at Target linkup, but this month I couldn’t resist. I managed to wander past the dollar section, which usually sucks me in. Instead, I found myself in the beauty aisles, in search of some fun summer beauty products.

$10 at Target challenge - what I bought. This time I shopped for summer beauty products. To read the details, click through.

I’ve been wanting to try a sea salt spray for my hair, so I picked up this Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe spray ($4.79). I actually heard about it from another blogger, but now I can’t remember who! I like the beachy smell, and it does seem to add some texture to my natural waves.

I also picked up this lipstick, Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick in All Fired Up ($5.59). I saw this on a drugstore beauty post from Making Mrs. M. I wanted a bright color for summer, and this definitely does the trick.

At $10.38, I’m a little over the $10 budget, but with the 10% Redcard discount I’m close (if you ignore those silly taxes).

Forgive the indoor office lighting, but in the above photo I’m wearing both the beach spray and the lipstick. The lipstick looks a little brighter in person, and I really like it!

Have you bought anything fun at Target lately?
