When it starts to feel like summer, do you always feel like there’s some item or accessory you have to have to complete your summer wardrobe? For me this year, there have been two things: a white dress and a white cotton (preferably with some eyelet) top. I’ve been striking out left and right with the top, but luckily I did find a pretty white dress.
I know I will wear it a lot this summer, especially if this early heat wave continues. Not surprisingly I had several items on Jona’s must-have summer list, but among them was a short-sleeved button-up shirt and some cut-off jean shorts. And thanks to that 40% off sale at Gap and Old Navy, done and done.
On Jona: checked shirt: Old Navy | shorts: Gap | sandals: Old Navy (similar)
On me: white dress: Old Navy | necklace: Nordstrom (similar) | sandals: Target (similar)

We wore these outfits to go to a nearby city’s “Summer Sidewalk Fest” with my mom over the weekend, where we checked out the farmer’s market, scoped out the sidewalk sales, and enjoyed some food.
Did you do anything fun and summery over the weekend?
