At 17 weeks pregnant, every morning I’m doing a little closet gambling. Will these pants that fit last week still fit today? Will this shirt resemble a crop top? I’m outgrowing my regular wardrobe a lot more quickly this time around it seems, but there have been a few “morning saver” pieces that never let me down.
I’m putting together a couple of looks that consist of these go-to pieces that help me stretch (literally) my non-maternity wardrobe. Even if you don’t have a growing belly, I think we all have days that our skinny jeans feel a little too tight, so these types of pieces are great for those blah-feeling days too.

Ahh, I love dresses. I don’t think you can beat them for comfort this time of year, and I love this loose-fitting knit version from Old Navy. I love how it skims over my midsection without feeling tight and uncomfortable.

The elastic waist has also been my friend lately. I love this striped skirt because I feel like there are so many ways to wear it. I thought it would be fun to pair it with this stretchy turquoise top and these new slide sandals.
