I have to admit that I often forget the significance of Memorial Day, and focus instead on the bonus day off. While I do love having this extra day to relax, I don’t want to forget the reason for this holiday–all the brave men and women who died serving our country. Thank you to all of you who serve or who have served in the past!
I’m going to keep today’s post short, but wanted to share a little update on the baby front. If you can’t tell from all the pink I’m wearing, we are excited to announce that Jona will be getting a sister! We are thrilled, and I can’t wait to go buy some sweet little girl clothes! I have absolutely loved being the mom to a sweet boy, so I can’t wait to see what having a little girl brings.
