Re-purpose Week: Blouse as Kimono

Happy Tuesday! My week of re-purposing clothing continues today with a restyle of this blouse I have from the Tucker for Target collection from a few years ago. I got it a size larger than my normal size, and I love how loose and flowy it is.

This year a big trend has been kimonos, and although I really like the look, I haven’t added a kimono to my wardrobe yet. However, I can get a similar look by wearing this blouse loose and unbuttoned. With jean shorts and wedge sandals, the open blouse gives a boho feel here, which I thought was fun since it’s a bit of a departure from my normal style. In fact, it’s making me want to add a kimono to my wardrobe, so I’ll be keeping my eye out.

Have you tried the kimono trend yet? What’s a new trend you’d like to try?
