Lately, “weekend” has been a verb. It’s been a lot of errand-running, blog conference-attending (more on that later this week), picture-taking, dinner-making, and toddler-entertaining. It has become the norm to fill up the weekend checking off the remaining items on the list, and by Monday, I’m often exhausted rather than rejuvenated. I love what Megan at Two Birds had to say about planning a weekend to do nothing. I may not be ready to let go of a whole weekend, but for the next couple of weekends of my favorite month, I’m going to try to slow down and soak it up a little more.
This look is ready for either type of weekend, fast-paced or slow. The Chucks and boyfriend jeans keep things casual, but the blazer and eNVe designs necklace add polish.
How did you spend your weekend?
