Currently: April

I kid you not, I just typed “Currently: March” in the title box above. Then I realized–high five to the forehead–holy goodness, it’s April! So despite my complaining about wardrobe (lack of) transitioning and wishy-washy spring, not-spring weather, March sped on by. Here are a few April things happening right now.

Currently wearing, baking, wish-listing, writing and exploring | www.shealennon.com

{wearing} flats. Without tights, mind you. Once I can ease up on the boot-wearing and slip my (bare) feet into flats on a regular basis, I know that spring is finally here. I wore most of my winter capsule all March, but once it started to warm up I couldn’t help but add some springy flats into the shoe rotation.

{baking} chocolate treats. The orignal prompt was sipping, but I’m not really sipping anything special. I added “baking” instead since I seem to be on a little kick. Over the last few weeks I’ve made chocolate toffee cookies (adapted from this recipe),  chocolate peanut butter no-bake cookies, and a big skillet chocolate chip cookie

{wish listing} dresses. I have a few weddings to go to this spring and summer, and my “special occasion” wardrobe is pretty much nonexistent. I think a new dress (like this pretty coral one) is in order.

{writing} a media kit. One of last month’s goals was to create a media kit for Shea Lennon. After consulting a couple of guides (I loved this one from Life Could be a Dream and this one from Blogger Collective) I got to work creating my own.

{exploring} nearby parks. Now that we have a fully mobile toddler on our hands, we try to take full advantage when the weather is nice. Jona wants to be outside all the time; he’ll go to the door and say “Outside!” and even grab his jacket, like hint, hint mom. Luckily there are a lot of parks not too far from our house that we can take him to, where he can run and pick up sticks to his little heart’s content.

What are you currently up to?
