Reluctant Layering

As much as I'd love to be pulling out my light jackets and sandals right about now, I'm glad that I planned my Winter Capsule to go through the end of March. I may not want to still be bundled up in thick sweaters, tights, and boots, but frostbite isn't a good look either. My (glove-covered) fingers are crossed that it will be warm enough to shed some of these layers soon.

This burgundy-navy color combination is one of my favorites right now. I'm so glad I added this sweater to my wardrobe this year; it pairs perfectly with navy blue and all the other neutrals I have going on this winter. Plus it's incredibly warm and cozy.

    Way to keep mixing things up this late in the (capsule and blah weather) season! I feel like this is a much different look than you've shown lately... resurrecting the skirt I guess :) Love the scarf. And I'm doing navy/burgundy combo today too (such a good and classic one), except my burgundy is my down coat, which I wore into my Starbucks office-of-the-day and haven't removed...

    I hope the warmer weather gets to you soon! We've got warm weather coming this way next week so it looks like I'll be able to shed some layers soon. I don't want to stop with my scarves though and speaking of - I LOVE your scarf! It's so cute!! Great look. And look at your hair! You're motivating me, I can do this growing out thing!!

    Thanks Anne! This has been my go-to skirt for days I have meetings at work, but I haven't really worn it much on the blog. So I'm glad that it's something different! I worry sometimes with this capsule thing that I'm doing to much of the same. At the same time, I never get bored reading about how other capsule wardrobers are styling their collections, so I should remember that. :) Stay warm! I hope spring weather comes your way soon!
