Currently: March

Hooray, it's March! Winter may still be hanging around, but spring is right around the corner. And for that, I am very grateful. Here's what I've been up to lately.

Dreaming: of spring, of course! It hasn't been a terrible winter, but these last few weeks have been so cold. I can't wait to go outside without having to pile on the layers. I'm looking forward to wearing dresses and skirts without tights. Although they're way beyond my budget, these sneakers look like they're begging to be worn with a bright floral skirt. I'll be on the hunt for a more affordable pair soon.

Planning: ways to grow and improve Shea Lennon. I went to the Go Blog Social workshop last month, and in addition to meeting some amazing women (look at all those pretty cards!), I left feeling inspired and energized about blogging.  I plan to apply some of the things that I learned at the workshop to make this little space of mine even better.

Making: scrapbook pages for February. I mentioned yesterday that I got an awesome care package of scrapbook supplies from a friend I met through blogging, Kimberly. I've been using some of those supplies to put together my scrapbook pages for last month's photos.

Baking: Applesauce muffins from Deceptively Delicious. As I mentioned yesterday, Jona was less than enthusiastic about these sneaky-veggie muffins. However, I'll keep trying... In the mean time, Aaron and I will snack on them and get some bonus beta-carotene into our diets.

Watching: Wheel of Fortune. Is it sad that's the only thing I really watch consistently? I'm just not a big TV-watcher; there aren't many shows that I actually keep up with for more than a season or two. When I have time to sit and relax, I prefer to read books or blogs. However, we often have our television on when Wheel of Fortune comes on during the week. Jona likes to watch Vanna hit the letters, and he likes to clap when the contestants clap. I'm training him early so he'll win us a new car one day.

What are you currently doing?

Linking to Anne and Jenna for their monthly Currently linkup (one of my favorites!).

  1. How fun! I love scrapbooking. I haven't since I've been married but want to record all of our fun trips and such especially before babies come & then have some baby scrapbooks. I'm so ready for Spring as well!! I'm stopping by from the linkup & I'm excited to have a new blog to follow. Blessings!

  5. I'm working on scrapbooking right now too! Finally! I'm so excited to get on that! And I love that you like watching Wheel of Fortune, I like it too, I just never catch it when it's on. I have a feeling Ollie would like it too though, too funny that Jona gets a kick out of it!

  8. Oh, those Tory Burch shoes are cute, but I don't know if I could shell out the money for them either. That sounds like such a good workshop that you went to. I've "attended" a similar on-line course, but I would love to go to something like that in person.

  13. Those sneakers are adorable! I don't wear too many closed toe shoes during the warmer months, but I would totally find a way to wear these. They would look great with a cute floral top!
