Presto Change-o

I'm so glad I stayed up to watch the Royals game on Tuesday night. When your team is all "Post season? What's that?" for 29 years, you have to watch the history-making game, right? But... going to bed after midnight and getting up at 5:30 has me a little draggy. I haven't been this tired since Jona, the early months.

So today I give you an outfit that's just like this outfit with the exception of one piece. I swapped the turquoise pencil skirt for these (#Be)Royal blue pants. I hope you'll forgive my lack of inventiveness. I also hope there's an early bedtime in my future.

Tell me, what are your I'm-too-tired-to-be-creative outfit go-tos?

graphic tee: J.Crew Factory / blue pants: Gap (similar) / necklace: Bauble Bar (similar) / nude flats: Target

  1. Yeah for the Royals! I used to live in K.C., and so I woke up Wednesday to ton of happy posts on Facebook from friends. The pants were perfect. I think my 'fake you're awake' outfit would be very similar: Pants, flats, cute top. You made it work.

  2. Works for me! I love how easy colored bottoms can make outfit building. My go-to for tired days is definitely to pull out a repeat outfit. Or whatever's draped over the chair next to my bed...

  3. That's cool, where do you live now? Yes, we're pretty excited about it--we're used to the Royals losing a lot as you well know :) And I love that "fake you're awake"--that's pretty much what I was doing here!

  4. I agree, I think I may need to add more for winter! I used to be afraid of doing a repeat (or an almost repeat) on the blog, and while I try to do mostly "new" looks/ideas, I think outfit repeats are a part of life!

  9. I give you props for this cute look! When I'm too tired to be creative I think I usually go with grays/blacks - pretty boring! This is super cute!

  10. Thanks Beth :) Believe me, I frequently do the same thing--lots of gray and navy blue in my capsule wardrobe.
