For the district I sub in, next week is Spring Break. I can’t believe it’s that time of year already; this semester has flown by so quickly! I suppose the four days off for snow days are partly to blame. Before you envy me the time off, know that on days kids don’t have school, I don’t get paid, so it’s a little bittersweet.
I wish I could say that I’m going on a tropical vacation over the break, but unless you call Hutchinson, Kansas tropical, I’m not. One thing I am looking forward to doing though is getting our nursery painted. I’ve decided on gray walls and white furniture, and I’ll bring in lots of color with accessories. (I don’t know which colors yet though, but I’m holding out hope for some pink and purple!)
