Lately I’ve been negative about a lot of things. I realized when I did my August roundup yesterday that I had two posts last month where all I did was complain. I know that’s life and I can’t pretend to always be in a good mood, but I don’t want the opposite to be true either.
So today I’m going to focus on a few things that are making me happy right now.
Neon colors: you can probably tell this is one of my favorite things to wear; it makes an appearance pretty frequently on the blog. Wearing it, and other bright colors, is an instant mood-lifter.

A job interview: I don’t think I need to explain why this makes me happy. I have one today, so send positive thoughts my way if you get a chance!
Meeting new blog friends: I participated in the Blogging Besties Swap put on by the sweet Krysten at Why Girls are Weird. She paired me with Jessica of Pretty Physicist, who sent me these awesome goodies, perfect for a girls night in. A night of pampering and manicures sounds like fun, and when there’s ice cream involved, it gets even better! Thanks Jessica, this was the perfect gift for me!
