I’ve never done one of these monthly roundups before, but since I like reading them on other blogs I thought I’d give it a try. It seems like a nice way to wrap up the month and highlight some of my favorite things.

What I read:
- Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon (the fourth in her Outlander series): I love getting lost in this time-traveling, beautifully written historical fiction series.
- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson: Finally, right? I know I’m late in the game on this, but I really enjoyed this fast-paced read. I’m anxious to read the other two in the series as well.
What I bought:
- J. Crew Factory: Short Sleeve Anchor Cardigan in red anchors, V-Neck Tissue Tee in white
- Saks Off 5th: 548 pink ruffled blouse
