Today it’s green day* at Everybody Everywear, so I figured it would be the perfect time to debut my new green jeans. (Yes, I caved.) I couldn’t beat the price at Target, but after wearing them around for a while I’m starting to have second thoughts. I had to go up a couple of sizes (they’re not kidding when they call them “skinny” fit), and while the legs remain very, very fitted, I was pulling up the waist all day.
Jacket: Gap; striped tee: Old Navy; jeans: Target; shoes: Toms
I’m hoping that at least for St. Patrick’s Day I’ll be able to throw a belt around them and call it good, but we’ll see. I suppose I could take them to a tailor, but it hardly seems worth it for cheap jeans. Besides, "taking something to the tailor" for me means putting it in a bag and forgetting about it.
So are you lazy like me, or do you promptly tailor clothes that don’t fit? Or are you one of those people I’m insanely jealous of, the people who can tailor their clothes themselves?
Be sure to check out all the ways everyone is wearing green today on Everybody,Everywear.
