Peaches and Cream

While driving back from Hutchinson last night, Aaron and I were listening to a 90s-2000s dance party on the radio. We were reminiscing about all the tunes we grooved to (well, I grooved... Aaron's not much of a groover) in our high school and early college years. So I thought the catchy 112 tune my friends and I shook our booties to in my mom's basement would be the perfect title for this outfit post. Other great dance-party songs we were remembering: "Take it to the House" by Trick Daddy, "Ignition Remix" by R. Kelly, "Danger" by Mystikal, and "Who We Be" by DMX. And I can't forget about "Holiday Inn" by Chingy. What were your favorite dance party tunes?

I think I'm due for a night out with the girls.

  4. Oh I definitely used to love going out and shaking my booty... those were some good times. I pretty much liked anything with a good beat, if I could groove to it it was good. Aww, the memories!

  6. I was more into the jock rock - you know, Chumbawumba's "I Get Knocked Down"; Queen's "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions." Ah, the nostalgia!

  7. OOH - you are taking me back! I love that song! Anything 80's does it for me - Especially Livin' on a Prayer. When I am out my friends and I sing that at the top of our lungs! :)

Girls nights are the best, aren't they?

  8. I need a girls night out too, my girls are scattered all over though :o( I'll always remember my Freshman year in college was when Nirvana hit and Pearl Jam. I remember lots of LL Cool J, Kris Kross (Jump, Jump) and one of the local flavors was Hootie and the Blowfish (they played the big annual Frat lawn party that year - then they hit it BIG soon after). This was 1991-92, oh 20 years ago. I shall now curl up in the fetal position and cry - lol!

  11. Cute outfit! And thanks for the laughs I just had at remembering where I was when all of those songs came out, songs which I probably still remember a good chunk of the words to, somehow!
