When it comes to dessert, I've always been more of a cake or cookie person rather than a pie person. My rationale goes something like this: it's dessert! I want chocolate, not fruit! But, when chocolate and pie get together... now we're talking. I came across this recipe for Toll House Cookie Sundae Pie on Tasty Kitchen, and I couldn't not make it. I mean, it's pie, it's a cookie, it's a sundae, there's chocolate AND ice cream. Yes! Yes! Yes!
The result? Deliciousness. I found that it was way better served warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (and chocolate syrup of course). Also, I found my lazy gal's pre-made pie crust to be a bit lacking. If I made this again, I would either make my own crust or at least use the refrigerated roll-out kind. Otherwise, this little slice of heaven met all my dessert requirements, and then some.

totally know what you mean! if you are having dessert, you should indulge!! chocolate and pie and cookies all the way~!!! :D
