Wouldn't You Know it, Pouring Rain

I've decided that this dress attracts bad luck. Remember the first time I wore it, the dreaded Chipotle spill? Forward to today: not only is it raining when I leave the school (on my silk dress, mind you) but also Aaron calls to tell me his car battery is dead. I'm not wearing this dress when it starts to get icy, that's for sure!

Although, the more I think about this the less it strikes me as a matter of luck. I mean, no one held a gun to my head and forced me to go to Chipotle (land of huge, messy burritos) in this dress. Likewise, I knew it was going to rain at some point today, yet I did not grab my umbrella. And Aaron sabotaged his battery by leaving his lights on. So maybe this dress attracts stupid decisions? I'm going to hedge my bets and wear luckier clothes tomorrow. I guess my new dress made of broken mirrors is out of the question.

  1. What a shame it's unlucky, because it's such a pretty dress! I also really really love the black, brown and blue together, I always get stern lectures from the boyfriend when I mix those, apparently it's a no-no or something.

  2. That's too bad! It's a beautiful dress and was such a great deal!

  5. I adore this look! I think today was just a bad/off day for a lot of people (my bestie got food poisoning). I felt like crap all day from lack of sleep. Hey, next time you wear that dress it could be the best day ever! Thanks for the sweet b'day wishes!

  6. What a bummer! But even if it's unlucky it looks pretty cute, especially with that sweater layered on top!

I really appreciate hearing from you!
