With Your Head in the Clouds

This outfit made me think of a cloudy day. I was so proud of myself, because I managed to make this light, white skirt, that almost went away with the summer clothes, work for fall. (Thanks to the lovely Dotty for inspiration.) With the cozy sweater and boots, I was ready for a beautiful, crisp October day. And then it was eighty degrees outside. So much for crisp.

On the positive side, however, I managed to make it through the day with my brain and keys where they needed to be. Thanks for your funny "locking yourself out" stories, they helped to bolster my wounded pride. And for those of you with the automatically locking doors, cheers to you for not locking yourself out every day!

  2. Isn't the weather bizarre?! The same thing keeps happening to me - I think I'm weather appropriate and then I step outside into a heat wave!
I really like the way you styled your summer skirt - it looks fantastic with those boots. :)

  3. You look good in knee high boots... I look like I'm standing in two buckets! So, here is my fashion question... Skinny jeans + flat ankle boots (like these http://piperlime.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=51754&vid=1&pid=832140&scid=832140012 ). Good or bad?
