Let it Be and Be with You

So last night Aaron and I went out to dinner to celebrate our 4th anniversary.  I can't believe we've been married four years!  We went to Yia Yia's, a European Bistro-style restaurant.  That was a good decision by us--it was sooo good.  Good doesn't even begin to describe it.  I was going to take pictures of the food, but it looked so mouth-watering all I could think about was eating it.  I had salmon with sweet corn risotto, and Aaron had flat iron steak with chili butter and sweet corn (we really like corn).  I was full about halfway through, but I just couldn't stop. It was that amazing.  For dessert (which we got for free! Did I mention I love this restaurant?) we had a phyllo-dough wrapped brownie with ice cream, chocolate sauce, and creme anglaise.  Take a moment to think about that.  Mmmmm. What a great night!

Going out for a nice dinner also gave me an excuse to wear my new dress! I got it to wear to Aaron's dad's wedding next weekend, but I didn't want to wait until then.  I love it, but I find it difficult to accessorize because of the one shoulder.  I fear that a necklace would compete with the neckline, and I don't have very many bracelets.  I need to think about how to wear it for the wedding... any suggestions?

  1. Your dinner sounds phenomenal!! You looked absolutely gorgeous too!

I agree - I wouldn't wear a necklace with this and like how you have the larger earrings on with it. A dramatic cuff bracelet would be pretty or you could even do a brooch on the one shoulder or at the waist for a little flair. Have a great time at the wedding in this dress!

  2. Congrats darling! To many more! btw.. you look stunning! Love that dress, the style is perfect on you! va voom!

I really appreciate hearing from you!
